Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Roane County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
Emails may be retained for the purpose of preparing a response. Messages remain within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a legal obligation.

Roane County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of dockets or personal case information. It provides general directions to the Roane County Circuit Court, Circuit Clerk, other local court custodians, and statewide case systems. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before running a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Roane County Circuit Clerk, court portals, statewide systems, legal-aid organizations, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
